Online HS English Courses and Electives

Cypress Academy offers customizable curriculum services for homeschool families and communities, focused on grades 9–12 English. Parents can choose from either pre-designed courses or customize the curriculum by collaborating with the designer. In addition to building and organizing the course, we offer optional teaching support: grading, feedback, help sessions, discussion-based assignments, etc. This service is available for individual families or homeschool pods. Whether you need a ready-to-go course or a tailored experience with ongoing teacher support, we're here to make your high school English journey engaging and flexible!

Pricing: 

Curriculum Pricing:  $1000 for the core English course.  $500 for the elective. This includes teacher support: grading, authentic feedback, monthly check-ins. Students have access to the course and teacher support for 12 months. 

Additional Fees: The cost of texts varies by course.  During our consultation call, we can discuss your preferred text types and format (audiobooks, Kindle, paperback, films, etc.) If you would like additional support for your child, we can discuss adding more check-ins and/or discussion-based assessments.

Curriculum and Platform: 

Our courses are accessed through Google Classroom.  Once registered, your child will receive an email and password to access the course.  Our curriculum adheres to the rigor of Florida B.E.S.T. standards.
